Premium fish-based kibble built on Arctic LT71 whole fish. Naturally gluten-free, no peas or lentils, and nothing added just to pad the bag. Made in small batches in Germany and brought to the UK direct, by one person who got tired of dog foods that hide behind clever labelling.

Don’t want to commit to a full bag straight away? We are currently running promotional 1kg trial bags for just £9.50 delivered, 3-5 business days.

10kg bags and 5kg bags are dispatched on a tracked 1–2 day service.

Ingredients

Arctic LT71 fishmeal (33% of the dry formula, equivalent to 78% whole fresh fish before moisture removal; sourced from wild caught North Atlantic species including whole anchovies, whole herring, whole sand eels, whole capelin, whole blue whiting, whole mackerel and whole horse mackerel. Species numbers and ratios vary seasonally with the wild catch), sorghum seeds, sorghum meal, salmon oil (8%), buckwheat (6.5%), sunflower seeds, flaxseeds (1.5%), minerals, carrots, psyllium husks, milk thistle extract, white poppy, oregano extract.

Our buckwheat

Sourced exclusively through a GMP certified supply chain, with batch level testing and documented quality controls before the raw material is accepted. Flower and plant material is removed before processing.
The seed is then cooked under high heat and pressure, which acts as a second line of defence against microbial contamination.

From the person who actually runs this

I didn't get involved with Nutramare because I wanted to sell dog food. I got involved because I was genuinely impressed by the company behind it.

I’ve used their koi food for years and always been impressed by how it’s put together. Clear, purposeful ingredient selection, no unnecessary fillers, and a formulation approach that prioritises nutritional function over marketing trends. Exceptional nutrition without the exceptional price.

So when I found out they also made dog food, it was clear straight away it followed the same approach.

I felt the UK needed a dog food like this.

Today I run Nutramare UK from East Sussex. Every order, every email and every bag goes through me, and every bag I sell is food I happily feed my dog.

Common Questions, answered straight

Is the recipe gluten-free?

Yes. The recipe uses naturally gluten-free ingredients, including sorghum and buckwheat, rather than wheat or other gluten-containing cereals.

Does the food contain fillers?

No. Every ingredient in the Nutramare formula is included for a clear nutritional reason. The recipe focuses on highly digestible protein sources, balanced fats and functional ingredients that support overall health, rather than using unnecessary, cheap ingredients simply to increase the bulk of the food.

Are the herbs included at meaningful levels?

Yes. The herbal components in the Nutramare formula are included at nutritionally relevant levels rather than in trace amounts simply for label appeal. They are selected for their potential to support digestion, immune health and overall wellbeing, and are included at levels intended to contribute meaningfully to the overall formulation.

Is the food suitable for all breeds?

Yes. Nutramare dog food is designed to provide balanced nutrition suitable for dogs of all breeds and sizes. The highly digestible protein sources and balanced formulation make it suitable for a wide range of dogs, although feeding quantities should always be adjusted according to body weight, activity level and individual requirements.

How long does a bag last?

Every bag of Nutramare dog food will arrive on your doorstep with at least 18 months remaining before the best-before date. When stored in a cool, dry place, the food will maintain its freshness and nutritional quality for an extended period.

We produce our food in smaller batches at regular intervals to maintain consistently fresh ingredients. Raw materials are sourced with a focus on local supply chains so the time between harvest and processing remains as short as possible.

This approach helps preserve ingredient quality while maintaining consistent standards throughout production.

How long a bag lasts in practice will depend on your dog’s size and daily feeding amount.

How much should I feed my dog?

The recommended daily feeding amounts depend on your dog’s body weight, activity level and individual metabolism. A detailed feeding guide is available on the product page to help determine the appropriate daily portion. Feeding amounts may need adjusting depending on your dog’s activity level and individual needs.
