Nutramare was founded by animal nutrition specialist David Otto. He isn't a marketer, or an entrepreneur chasing a trend. He is someone who spent years in agricultural science studying how animals actually process and use food. What you'll find in our products are ingredients that are there for a reason. Not just because they look good on a label.

Our formula is built on digestibility, nutrient balance and long-term health. Developed through research, feeding trials and formulation testing. We work the opposite way to most pet food brands: biology first, marketing second. If an ingredient is in the bag, it earns its place nutritionally. If it isn't, it's because it doesn't.
No fillers, ever.
You won't find low-grade cereal fillers, artificial bulking agents, or ingredients included just to make the list look impressive. We're selective about what goes in, and equally selective about what stays out. Every component is chosen for what it does, not how it reads on a label.
Sustainably sourced ingredients
Sourcing matters as much as formulation. Our Arctic LT71 fishmeal is made from wild-caught whole arctic fish, selected for both nutritional quality and responsible origin. The same thinking runs through every ingredient we use.
